Her teaching approach emphasizes building confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking by connecting science and math concepts to real-world issues like climate change, sustainability, and technology. She has worked as a teaching assistant, mentored high school and college students, and led programs that bring science to life through hands-on learning and creative outreach.
Above all, Kelsey is passionate about helping students see the value of what they’re learning and how it connects to their lives and the world around them. She tailors each tutoring session to meet individual needs and learning styles making science not only understandable, but exciting and empowering.
When she's not teaching or talking about science incessantly, Kelsey loves reading books, playing board games with friends, and saying hi to every dog she sees!
