As a local Denver teacher with an unwavering passion for learning and nurturing young minds, I founded this tutoring business with a vision to revolutionize the landscape of education in the Denver Metro Area.

We recognize that each student is unique, with their own learning style and academic strengths. However, not all students receive the one-on-one support they need in a traditional classroom setting. That's where Bright Minds steps in. Our tutoring approach is centered around the core belief that fostering continual curiosity and growth in each student is the key to unlocking their true potential.

Finally, allow me to introduce myself further. I am Abigail Smith, the founder of Bright Minds Tutoring and Mentoring. My passion for education began during my own academic journey, where I experienced the profound impact of teachers and tutors who genuinely cared about their students' success and well-being. As a high school valedictorian and a two-time graduate of a top-ranking university, I have seen firsthand how dedicated educators with diverse backgrounds can make a lasting difference in students' lives.
Throughout my teaching career, I have strived to embody this passion and dedication. As an educator, I believe in being honest and transparent, while helping students navigate the complexities of both learning and growing up. I have witnessed remarkable growth in students who have had access to teachers who embrace change and constantly refine their teaching methods to better serve their learners. My students are at the core of my inspiration for founding Bright Minds.
My own academic journey took me through a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Secondary Education from Northwestern University. I've taught a range of subjects, including Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, and College Algebra. Currently, I am a full-time math teacher at a local independent school in the Denver metro area, and my teaching license covers grades 5 to 12 mathematics.
